Dr. Zhao Jing is an Assistant Professor (Probationary) at the School of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, Harbin Engineering University. Born in March 1993, she earned her Doctor of Engineering degree in Materials Science and Engineering, specializing in the development and application of advanced porous materials.
Dr. Zhao's research expertise lies in exploring the potential of porous materials, including carbon - based materials, Metal - Organic Frameworks (MOFs), and Covalent Organic Frameworks (COFs), for high - performance energy storage devices. Her work has been widely recognized, evidenced by over 20 first - author or corresponding - author publications in top - tier international journals, such as Energy Storage Materials, Nano Letters, and Journal of Hazardous Materials. Additionally, she holds two Chinese patents, contributing to the practical implementation of her research findings.
In addition to her research endeavors, Dr. Zhao is actively involved in teaching and academic service. She instructs courses on electrochemistry, bridging theoretical knowledge with practical applications. As a Guest Editor for Materials and Microstructures, and a Young Editorial Board Member for Materials Engineering and Exploration, she plays a crucial role in promoting academic exchanges and advancing the field of materials science.
