The central premise of Dr. Lizymol research is to develop novel biomaterials for medical applications. Research in Dr. Lizymol’s group attempted to extend the unique capabilities of natural materials to the novel synthetic biomaterials,developed by nature friendly, simple and economically viable process to push the boundaries of existing technology towards problems of major societal importance, such as dental caries, periodontitis, bone defect, management and design of non toxic bioactive materials with osteogenic potential.
