Jan Sawicki is a goal-driven data scientist with over five years of combined commercial and scientific experience. They have published research in international journals, presented at both commercial and academic conferences, and served as a peer reviewer for international institutions.

Jan earned his Engineering degree in Computer Science with honors from the Warsaw University of Technology. They continued his studies at the same institution, completing a Master's degree in Data Science. They later completed a PhD at the Warsaw University of Technology, with a dissertation focused on natural language processing, graph neural networks, and social media analysis.

They possess strong technical skills and hands-on experience with state-of-the-art data science technologies. Alongside his academic achievements, Jan has worked at leading technology companies, including Samsung Electronics (a global technology leader), PKO BP (the largest Polish fintech firm), and Pitney Bowes (a U.S.-based logistics company). They have also contributed to more specialized firms such as Team Internet (a web registry-focused company) and SoftServe (a B2B company delivering a broad range of technological projects).

Jan currently holds a permanent academic position at the Warsaw University of Technology, where they teach courses and supervises student theses in natural language processing and emerging technologies.

They bring a combined five years of industrial research and development experience, has authored 13 peer-reviewed publications, delivered over 300 hours of academic subjects, and given a total of six hours of large-scale conference prelections.
