Yang Zhongkang is an Associate Professor at the College of Resources and Environment, Shandong Agricultural University, where he serves as Deputy Director of the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering. He earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in June 2019. He has published more than 40 papers and 1 book. Moreover, he has organized 3 special issues in the SCI journals of 《Toxics》and《Sustainability》as the guest editor. His research focuses on three interconnected pillars: (1) Environmental change reconstruction through geochemical and sedimentological archives, (2) Pollution monitoring and assessment using advanced analytical and remote sensing techniques, and (3) Environmental risk modeling to predict contaminant dispersion and ecological impacts. By integrating field investigations with computational approaches, his work provides critical insights into anthropogenic influences on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.
