Dr. Mohammad M. Karimi received his B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from Iran University of Science Technology (IUST), M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in pavement engineering, both from Sharif University of Technology. He served as Assistant Professor of Road and Transportation in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Tarbiat Modares University (since Sep 2018). Mohammad's interests lie in the field of thermodynamic-based constitutive relationships, numerical implementation, and computational modeling of pavement materials and structures. During his M.Sc., Ph.D., and the visiting researcher at University of Kansas, he has developed several kinds of research in the field of computational modeling of asphalt materials and pavement. In recent years, he has been working on innovative methods of asphalt concrete repairingand sustainable asphalt pavement using experimental evaluation and computational modeling.
